The Challenge
Following a significant transformation programme, the SFO wished
to develop an intranet that would better support this programme,
providing a tool for both office-wide communication and to promote
effective relationships between their staff.

The Solution
The resulting intranet simplifies the complex nature and sheer
volume of information through a clean, clear and concise design
that allows staff to quickly find what they need. The site is
underpinned by an open source content management system which was
enhanced, through bespoke development, to meet the client’s own
particular needs, such as handling the redaction of sensitive
information for publication. A dual publishing feature was also put
in place to support consistency of content across both intranet and
internet sites.
The Results
Accessed by the clients 600+ staff, the new SFO intranet is now
successfully utilised as an office wide communication tool and has
been beneficial in improving effective relationships between
individuals.
