The Challenge
To web-enable a comprehensive offline manual developed by
Weighmans LLP, based on years of disease claims handling expertise,
and make it available as a commercial product to other solicitors
and clients.
The Solution
We delivered the online manual via an innovative content managed
extranet, whereby the casual visitor can access a limited number of
web pages from the manual. Weightmans has the option to provide
access to the complete online manual to its clients free of charge
and to other parties through an online registration and payment
process whereby the user pays an annual subscription fee.
The Results
"Since its launch internally disease-i has been
used on a daily basis by members of the Weightmans disease
team as a reference and research tool, says communications manager
Liston Dunn. “It has been commented that the site is very
interactive and user friendly. disease-i has now been
launched externally to clients and there has already been a high
level of interest."
