We’re delighted to announce we’ve won a new contract with the
Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and
adult social care services in England.
The contract is to enhance the Commission’s online Data
Ratification tool - a key component in the Government’s Annual
Health Check, assessing and rating the performance of all NHS
trusts in England.
The tool provides the trusts with the opportunity to see the
whole range of data describing their performance against key
indicators contributing to the annual health check performance
rating. The tool also allows trusts to raise any queries on the
data, through a secure web-based environment, before the data is
ratified by the Care Quality Commission.
We will be implementing changes to the tool’s administrative
system to provide additional options for the management of
information as well as providing support on key dates during the
ratification process.
The first online ratification tool was developed by Connect in
2004, replacing the existing manual process. The tool has been
developed since then to include a sophisticated and comprehensive
Query Management System, allowing online queries and the responses
to them to be effectively managed, resulting in improved levels of
efficiency within the Care Quality Commission, and a better service
for the trusts.
