Delight at new NHS web contract

Connect is thrilled to announce its latest contract for the development, maintenance and hosting of Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s website.

The Trust is a leading provider of tertiary and specialist healthcare services in Manchester, treating over one million patients every year. The Trust’s five specialist hospitals are home to hundreds of world class clinicians and academic staff committed to finding the patients the best care and treatments.

Connect will develop a focused service that will empower the organisation to effectively manage its website, enhancing services to patients, GPs, other healthcare professionals and Trust members whilst providing cost savings and business benefits. The open source content management system, Umbraco, has been chosen as the basis for the website which will enable Connect to introduce a wide range of interactive features to raise the profile of the site and increase visits.
