Connect is delighted to add The Countryside Council for Wales
(CCW) to its growing portfolio of public sector hosted clients,
following a competitive tender for the delivery of managed web
hosting services.
CCW required a secure hosting arrangement with an infrastructure
designed to optimise performance and deliver value for money. Our
solution comprises a dedicated virtual server configuration with
full service management. This virtualised hosting solution offers
both flexibility and scalability to best meet CCW’s strategic needs
over the next three years.
Connect will undertake migration of CCW’s existing Alterian Content Manager (Immediacy with
Autonomy) infrastructure to the new hosting environment, based in
Connect’s ISO 27001 accredited data centre.
Mark Diggle, CCW’s IT Business and Compliance Manager: "We
chose Connect because of their outstanding value for money,
professional approach, stringent security arrangements and
technical knowledge of Immediacy. The solution is also in line with
CCW's strategic vision of Green ICT."
Advisors to the Welsh Assembly Government, The Countryside Council for Wales (opens
new window) champions the environment and landscapes of
Wales and its coastal waters as sources of natural and cultural
riches, as a foundation for economic and social activity, and as a
place for leisure and learning opportunities.
