Connect Internet Solutions are delighted to announce a new
client - Defra - for whom we’ll be supplying web hosting and
maintenance services for their Rural Development Programme for
England (RDPE) Network website. RDPE is a funding programme that
implements the European Rural Development Regulation in England.
The network’s website is a key interface and communications tool
between the RDPE Network and its stakeholders. Our web hosting
solution recognises the importance of the service to Defra and
ensures both a seamless transition to the new web hosting service
and a robust, secure ongoing web hosting facility that minimises
risk.
Our web hosting solution includes migration to a Virtual Machine
(VM) environment, located within our ISO 27001 accredited data
centre, and hosting of both the live and staging sites in a secure
and fully scalable environment. The initial migration has been
delivered ahead of schedule and to the client’s satisfaction. As
well as hosting and maintenance, Connect will also be providing
practical advice and guidance on how to maximise the website’s
potential.
