Connect are delighted to announce their
recent selection to deliver a new website for Greater Glasgow and
Clyde NHS.
GG&C NHS provide services to over one
million people and one of their key issues of concern is Sexual
Health and Relationships. The Sandyford Initiative offers
sexual, reproductive and emotional health services to the Glasgow
area via a number of hubs and they wish to further support this
initiative by the use of an accessible, friendly and
information-rich website.
The site will provide relevant information to
different key user groups such as young people and the
practitioners who work to offer the services. The system will
also be supported by two databases of information pertaining to
translated patient information and the free condom distribution
service.
Design and presentation is key as the site
will provide information in an objective, matter of fact and
engaging way. The supporting CMS will be developed utilising
the open source Umbraco content management system with a number of
bespoke features.
