Connect have been successful in their bid to
develop the Illicit Tobacco North website. Commissioned by
Smokefree Northwest on behalf of the partners involved, the
Tackling Illicit Tobacco for Better Health programme aims to reduce
the amount of smuggled, bootlegged and counterfeit cigarettes
available throughout Northern England. To assist with this
programme, the partners recognise the need for effective
communication and partner engagement and have recruited Connect to
deliver a website that will assist in the achievement of those
aims.
The site will be designed for the primary
audience of professionals working for the partners. The system
will provide resource libraries, events information, news and media
and will also include secure areas to allow parts of the site to be
accessible only via login.
The client has a very short timescale and we
anticipate the go live of the completed site to take place before
the end of the summer.
