Connect is delighted to announce a new contract with Sussex
Police to deliver web hosting services.
Sussex Police required not just a secure hosting service but
also ongoing support for their new force website, developed to
engage, inform and transact with the communities of East Sussex,
West Sussex, Brighton & Hove and the North Downs as well as
providing a specialist role in the policing of Gatwick airport.
Following competitive tender, Connect was selected for its proposal
for a cost-effective, secure service that will ensure the
smooth-running of the site in the future.
The contract includes a fully managed, resilient hosting service
at Connect’s ISO 27001 accredited data centre and provides enhanced
site management for the force through separation of live and
staging environments. The force’s site uses Umbraco, a content management system that
Connect have significant experience in developing and managing.
Connect is delighted to add Sussex Police to its growing
portfolio of public sector hosted clients. Our recent relocation to
Liverpool city centre enabled us to upgrade our hosting facilities,
allowing us to offer a range of services to suit the increasing
number of organisations looking externally for managed hosting
provision.
