We’re pleased to announce that Connect has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s Data and Application Solutions framework.

Data and Application Solutions is a delivery agnostic framework that combines software and professional services to deliver better business outcomes for organisations in the public sector.

The framework supports complex software requirements, allowing organisations to run competitions or directly award work with a standardised call-off period of up to 7 years.

The Crown Commercial Service estimates the value of the framework over the potential 4-year lifecycle to be £2.8bn.

The framework is divided into five groups and 14 Lots, and following a competitive application process Connect has been certified to provide services under the following Lots:

Group 1 Enterprise Data and Application Solutions
Lot 1c Data Collection, Storage & Management
Lot 1d Data Intelligence & Analytics

Connect’s Managing Director, Janet Symes said:

“Gaining accreditation on the Data and Application Solutions framework provides a significant opportunity for Connect, ensuring we can deliver our industry-leading solutions to public sector organisations across the UK, whilst further increasing our reach.

“Securing a place on this framework, alongside G-Cloud 10 and Digital Outcomes and Specialists 2, affirms that our solutions continue to meet the Crown Commercial Service’s scrupulous criteria.”

In order to gain accreditation, suppliers had to hold Cyber Essentials certification. Cyber Essentials helps organisations to guard against cyber threats and demonstrate a commitment to cyber security.

Connect received Cyber Essentials certification in 2015, and continue to work towards a safer web.
