You may have heard the news via our social channels over the past week or so, but we are excited to confirm that we have been shortlisted for five big awards at three of the UK’s most prestigious digital events.

Our first shortlist place is at the 2016 Digital Entrepreneur Awards in the ‘Web Development Project of the Year’ and ‘Technical Innovation within the Public Sector’ categories. We have been shortlisted for our work with the UK Space Agency, and for our work with The Mayor’s Office for Policing And Crime (MOPAC) on the development of a cost-saving reports system for Independent Custody Visitors.

Our second shortlist place is at the 2016 Digital Impact Awards in the ‘Best Use of Digital in the Public Sector’ and ‘Best Digital Rebrand’ categories. Once again, we have been shortlisted for our work with the UK Space Agency on the award-winning Principia Mission website, and for our work with Wrexham County Borough Council and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal Visitor Management Steering Group on the development of a cross-platform interactive experience for the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our final shortlist feature is at the 2016 Merseyside in Business Awards in the ‘Digital and Technology Business of the Year’ category. We have been shortlisted for the role we play as an agency in the digital and technology sector in Merseyside.

Connect’s joint Managing Directors, Carole Boardman and Janet Symes said: “What a week this has been for Connect! We’re overjoyed that the Digital Entrepreneur, Digital Impact and Merseyside in Business judges have recognised our talent and creativity, and await the individual ceremonies with great anticipation.

“The team are off to a fantastic start this awards season, and with our recent win at the 2016 UK Public Sector Communications Awards just behind us, we can’t wait to see where we’re headed next.”
