Connect have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Digital Marketing Campaign – Third Sector’ category at the 2016 Northern Digital Awards for our work on the multi-award winning SENDirect platform.
The collaborative resource, designed for parents and carers of children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities, received the approval of many in 2015, and 2016 looks set to be another fantastic year for SENDirect with the Northern Digital Awards judges recognising the platform’s impact on the sector.
The platform enables vital health, education and social care information to be accessed by parents and carers of children with additional needs across the UK. The site was built on an Umbraco content management system that required extensive technical development to incorporate a range of features and complex functionality.

The Northern Digital Awards celebrate the very best campaigns and talent that the North West has to offer – rewarding projects across a number of sectors that reflect the digital world that public, private and third sector organisations now inhabit, trade and communicate in.
The awards take place on Thursday 28th January in the New Dock Hall at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. With over 400 guests set to attend, the event will bring together the North West’s leading players for one of the biggest nights of the digital year.
